Welcome to The Pilgrim
Tucked away on the High Street of the pretty Buckinghamshire village of North Marston, The Pilgrim is an award-winning, independent pub with a real community spirit at its heart. Owner-operated and cherished by locals and visitors alike, The Pilgrim has earned an impressive collection of accolades — including repeated selection in the MICHELIN Guide Great Britain & Ireland, multiple listings in The Good Food Guide, recognition in Britain's 100 Best Local Restaurants, and a place in The Good Food Guide's Top 100 Best Pubs in Britain 2025, ranked 75th. Closer to home, it has also won Aylesbury Vale District Council's Best Community Pub Award.
Step inside and you'll find heavy timbers, warming log fires, and an unpretentious, welcoming atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to gather with friends and family. The spacious beer garden is a favourite in the warmer months, while the cosy bar-lounge invites you to linger a little longer when the nights draw in.
The food is something special — contemporary, seasonal dishes designed for sharing, crafted from locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. The menu changes to reflect the seasons, and on Sundays a traditional roast takes centre stage.
Whether you're a regular or discovering us for the first time, The Pilgrim is more than a pub — it's the heart of the village.
